around 1995 or so i bought a 4-track recording system (yamaha mt-50) when studying
in dundee, i had been playing abstract noise music with Anal Tantrum a few years prior then with Split Dog (same line up) and then Sidca or, at the time, Sidka Spruce (again, same line up)

anyway i had this 4-track and when ever i got bored or drunk i'd make a little recording using a fucked guitar i bought from Simon Lamb, whom i shared a flat with at the time
(i later joined his new wave punk band The Panics) for £10 electricity money for the metre, a five string bass guitar, an effects box plus a cushion and pizza box for bass drum and snare.

the result was monstrous. i made so much noise on so many little tapes you wouldn't believe it. i have recently compiled few bits from about 3 or four years of 4-track
madness most of it shit but some tracks are just plain bad.
I have posted some of the highlights here for your amusement as MP3s.

now i've added some new things i've been working on. i bought a PS2 game called mtv music generator which allows me to sample cds or any sounds i've created and burnt to cd, let's just say i've sampled a few cds and sequenced around 45 tracks with varying success creating a concept 'Simozone'. there are 2 tracks available for download.

now here's the warning :
i'm not a producer or musician by trade or design.
i 've never had any lessons on how to play guitars or bass or anything you'd need to
make a decent recording so expect the worst.
